This application is an iPhone front end to the www.grsms.com SMS gateway; a Greek portal for SMS messages.

This application is more than another wrapper for a SMS gateway; this version includes an optimized version of the “Greek keyboard for the web” keyboard. The user is able to write SMS messages using Greek letters and send SMS to anybody in the contact list - or even to any random number.

Moreover, the application uses GSM encoding. This means that it is possible to send 160 characters per SMS, instead of 70.

The benefits don’t stop here: by using a SMS gateway the cost per SMS is cheaper than other traditional methods.
